Videora Android Converter is a free video converter. It allows you to convert video files into H.264 and MPEG-4 files. Those files will play on your Android phone and lots of other devices. The application can open most popular video formats, including MOV, MKV, FLV, AVI, MPEG-4, H.264, WMV, among others.
This converter is HTML-based. It allows you to operate the application as if it were a configuration wizard. You are shown instructions on the HTML pages and you have to click on "next" at every step. This is great for beginner users, but advanced users will probably find the graphical user interface unresponsive and a bit slow. There is an expert mode, which reduces the steps needed to convert a file and allows for a better tweaking of the conversion profile.
In terms of performance, all the Videora converters that I have tried recently worked very well. I didn't notice any problems with audio or video and the quality of the converted files was very similar to that of the original file.
The only little problem that I have seen with some of these converters is that the default output path for converted files causes an error. If you change the path to an actual folder on your system, the error goes away.
Note: When you have more than one Videora converters installed, somehow only one of them can be run. I found this problem in all the Videora converters that I have tried.
- It works well
- Easy to use
- An error and too many ads
